Bio/Description

John is the Graduate Program Administrator for the Department of English and works with the Director of Graduate Studies to oversee all aspects of the graduate program. Contact John for assistance with:

John has worked in a number of roles Department of English since 2011. Before joining the Department of English, John worked as the program coordinator for the Franklin Humanities Institute at Duke University and as the concert coordinator for Princeton University Concerts and the Department of Music at Princeton. John earned an MA in Historical Musicology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has studied historical performance on plucked strings and other period instruments for many years. He is a long-time collaborator with Early Music Princeton. When John is away from campus, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors, homebrewing, collecting pop-up books, and performing with his early music ensemble, Riverview Early Music.
