On Halloween 2018, there will be a world-wide marathon reading of Mary Shelley’s extraordinary novel: “Frankenread”–various groups, academic, civic reading the entire novel. This event will be variously recorded by the NEH.
At Princeton, this event will take place over three festive evenings from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and will include a screening of Thomas Edison’s silent film “Frankenstein” (1910) which was the first motion picture adaptation of the novel. Several readers from around the campus and community will each take about ten minutes to read.
October 31 thru November 2. 6:30pm-10:00pm
Free and open to everyone.
If you would like to be one of the many readers to participate, please contact Susan Wolfson: firstname.lastname@example.org
