Event Description
Frank O’Hara’s Lunch Poems (City Lights Books, 1964) is a series of poems written over lunch, capturing the spontaneity and vividness of ordinary moments. O’Hara ate lunch, walked, and wrote down the thoughts that emerged. Now being recreated within Princeton’s English department, the first-ever Poetry Over Lunch event will bring English majors together to write their own Lunch Poems. Come hang out with your peers and faculty, enjoy some tasty Olive’s catering, and write poems in a low-stress environment!
