Reunions: Poems before Lunch - Prof. Gleason, Schor, Anderson
Reunions: Poems before Lunch

Each year during Reunions the English Department invites Princeton alums to join us for an hour of poetry and conversation. This June faculty members Sarah Anderson, William Gleason, and Esther Schor did the honors. Anderson read a selection of riddles about writing, highlighted by her translation of Old English Riddle 26 from The Exeter Book of Riddles; Schor read a menu of poems about immigration by Emma Lazarus, Galway Kinnell, Alberto Ríos, Safiya Sinclair, and Joan Naviyuk Kane; and Gleason shared five poems for children from Jacqueline Woodson's verse memoir, Brown Girl Dreaming.
