Bio/Description
Mary joined the department in 2016. She earned her B.A. in English and Italian from the University of Notre Dame in 2014. Supported by a Beinecke Scholarship, she completed her M.A. in English and American Literature at Notre Dame in 2016. She studies Anglo-Italian literary relations in the early modern period and questions of religion and literature. Her current project is framed around early modern debates about sacred and secular intercessors.
